Main Responsibilities:

As a Buffer Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve the objectives set by the Buffer Team Leader in conjunction with the DSP and Buffer Manufacturing Manager.
  • Comply with good manufacturing standards, as well as occupational health and safety standards.
  • Execute the activities of the Scale-up and Manufacturing department of media and buffer preparation following the operating procedures and GMP requirements under the responsibility of the Buffer Team Leader and Buffer Technicians.
  • Correctly and accurately complete production records to ensure traceability of production operations.
  • Maintain the equipment, facilities, and Scaling and Manufacturing rooms in perfect state of conservation, operating according to the manuals provided by the manufacturer and following the regulations described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Collaborate in the preparation of sterile material; culture media; solutions for chromatography, gels for purity tests and other materials for the proper functioning of the production process, as well as with the preparation of filtration and sterilization process solutions.
  • Control the stock of material in the production warehouse and manage it according to the current documentation and the indications of the Buffer Team Leaders.
  • Write the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) corresponding to the activities carried out in Buffer Scale-Up and Manufacturing.
  • Perform those activities associated with the correct operation of the corresponding production rooms.
  • Complete in due time and form the training program established for the position: Buffer Specialist (FAB).

Requisitos mínimos

Assessment criteria:

Education

  • Intermediate Level Training Cycle related to the area: Chemistry; Chemical Plant; Environmental Health; Laboratory Analysis; Analysis and Quality Control Laboratory; Cell Cultures, etc.
  • Valuable, but not necessary, Higher Level Training Cycle related to the area (Chemistry; Environmental Health; Laboratory Analysis; Cell Cultures etc.).


Languages

  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Basic level of English (Level A2-B1 / PET Certificate).


Between 6 months and 1 year of experience in/with

  • GMP/GLP regulations.
  • Preparation of solutions and sterile material.
  • Support or drafting of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Other requirements

  • Software package: Office. User level.
